I used to work with delta when I was younger. Back then, I had to deal with player competitions in flash games and I could not allow slower machine to get better score than others. Now, I only use it when I make game with bullet time. Working without delta is just more enjoyable imho

Taking different routes won't save you from protecting your own flag. If you wait to defend you will still have to deal with your late clones using the same strategy. Finally, using different route is just a better way to memorize your previous moves.

I tried it after reading your comment but I was annoyed with clone vanishing on older flag points, and also the fact than their move was even less predictable. It's hard to keep track of everything...
