🚨 🚨 I spoke in Parliament in support of #RyansLaw, a campaign by the Saltern family who live here in North Cornwall, after they lost their son Ryan in a hit-and-run tragedy.

It was a privilege to speak up on their behalf in the House.

🚨 🗳️ The ECHR has helped deliver justice for Hillsborough families, protected those in care, and more.

When British troops died in Iraq because of poor equipment, the ECHR was the reason people were head accountable.

But too many (like Bodmin Keep - Cornwall's Army Museum) are really struggling to survive at the moment. 👇👇

Some of these are among the most deprived in the country - yet not a single town in Cornwall was chosen to receive any of the Government’s ‘Pride in Place’ funding. 👇

🔶 The North Cornwall Liberal Democrats had a great AGM over the weekend, where we reflected back over some of our major campaign wins these last 12 months.

Digital ID was a huge topic, and I was pleased to see our local party rally against the Government's dangerous plan.

🏡 When it comes to Cornwall's housing, we need INFRASTRUCTURE FIRST and PROFITS SECOND.

Too many of my constituents have been stung by dodgy developers, who've gone bust and left entire developments - and communities - without the promised sewage or road works.

♿️ We don't have a single mainline train station here in North Cornwall - and our closest, Bodmin Parkway, is inaccessible for my disabled constituents.

I've been pushing for the work start date to be brought forward, so that upgrades can be made ASAP ⏳👇
