Paulinha is an unnecessary security blanket against this lot. Not to say they haven’t offered something but their lack of quality is v obvious. so get a proper baller on the pitch to take them to the cleaners.

That Mo Salah statement is extraordinary. Text book example of a player believing they’re bigger than the team. He has obviously dropped several levels this season, benching him was the only thing Slot could do. & not just Slot, look at his FPL ownership 18% when it’s normally 80%!

Intensity. That’s the difference. For 60 mins we played with the most intensity we’ve managed in the league at home for months and it almost looked easy.
Dropped off a bit from there which looked more fitness than mentality and the subs didn’t raise the level.

Statement of obvious maybe but Romero’s personal heroics were outside of TF’s tactical plan. Without them we didn’t have a shot on target. Was a good feeling, which have been in short supply, but have no truck with turning points narrative. That has to come from a starting xi that smash 90 mins.
