I spent a year and a half setting up a rural apiary just to capture this moment of a honey bee collecting nectar from a wild shrub backlit by the setting sun.

Totally worth it.
She looks like an angel.

Each bee gets room for their metamorphosis. The queen bee lays the eggs in brood comb cells. Worker bees, sisters to the babies in the eggs, help out by placing royal jelly, pollen, and honey around each egg as nutrients.
