Yesterday on the Steyning Coombe, Hobby, 2 Spotted Flycatchers and 4 Redstarts. Then twitched the Little Stint in the afternoon.

Lots of Wheatears trying to shelter from the wind on the Downs around Steyning. Also a Marsh Harrier (possibly 2), and some Whinchats.

Good numbers of Spotted Flycatchers, a few Redstarts, a Tree Pipit and a Pied Flycatcher over the last couple days on the Steyning Downlands Scheme.

Fairly quiet on Gilkicker the last few days, but a couple flyover Tree Pipits, some Gannets, the first Yellow Wagtails of the year and this Redstart were the best.

Couldn’t find the Caspian this morning, but some other interesting birds made up for it. A Scandinavian Herring Gull and a young Yellow-Legged Gull.

Very happy to find this Dutch ringed Caspian Gull at Browndown yesterday.
