Epstein files, if any are actually released, will probably show up at 11:59 P.M. tomorrow, hoping the coverage on the weekend will be weak. My doubt meter is over the top.

Well, I guess DOJ has finally finished deleting any mention of the felon from the Epstein files. No other reason for him to agree to the release. Unless they use the "under investigation" ruse. Will we ever see the entire files?

Just did my grocery shopping and left almost in tears. The cashier was a young mother who lost her benefits bc of the shutdown. Her husband is laid up with a torn knee. She's begging for extra hours - NOT a handout. She's worried about how she'll feed her kids. Damn the Republicans.

Republicans don't care if people are hungry or don't have health care. They don't care if people suffer, so they could hold out forever.
Democrats care, which is their Achilles heel and the GOP depends on the empathy of dems to get their way.
As angry as I am right know, I'm still glad to be a dem.

After the elections, I got to thinking about the reactions. Mamdani came out fighting; Pritkzer has been fighting; Newsom has been fighting and then Obama came out telling folks to calm down. Much as I love him, I want a fighter right now. Never tell a woman to calm down.
