You did it! Because of you, Congress released the Youth Mentoring Grant! Over 2,600 supporters sent 8,000+ emails to Members of Congress advocating for the release of youth mentoring funds. The DOJ released the application for funding officially making it accessible to organizations! Thank you!

Our Center for Healthy Lifestyle hosted San Diego Ag in the Classroom at our Griset Garden, giving local educators a closer look at our green space. We dug into vermiculture, shared resources, and got hands-on with Pico de Gallo during a fun chef demo with Chef K!

Five teen employees of our workforce development program, the Lunch Box, competed in the North County African American Women's Association's (NCAAWA) 28th Annual Gentlemen's Gourmet Scholarship Fundraiser and 3 placed! This fundraiser supports women's scholarships where local male chefs compete.
