Should be able to make a lot of money betting on any opponent that has never scored. Odds on some unknown 25 year old rookie would be astronomical and it happens every time!

It seems like a lot of shots like that hit other goalies while Monty has to make the save every time. Mid-air right into the corner - probably couldn't duplicate that one in 10 tries.

1 year deal and at the tdl it isn't that pricey. Granted it isn't perfect but I would add him as a depth/insurance piece for sure if they don't add someone better.

Would love it but the Kings would have to be completely imploding to tear it down. Habs really need the bottom teams to separate themselves early. If everyone thinks they have a chance then nobody will be selling.

Slaf has become the player many of us hoped he would and some knew (overconfident??) he would. I think there is a great deal of relief the it finally clicked for him. And for me he is playing even better than the glimpses we have seen in the past - it's all coming together and its awesome!

Is that on the refs or the team? We all know little Timmy likes to dive, but how hard do his teammates play through infractions? And on the Habs side you have to think MSL coaches them to play the right way and not embellish. The discrepancy in calls may come down to how the teams play the game?

I'm going with Monty. I think Doby has earned it but the Flyers are a good team for Monty to keep building his confidence. If we come in with Doby Tues then Monty gets the Devils Thurs? That's not ideal.

Nobody has mentioned it yet, but in a physical statement game, Anderson was largely invisible. For me, that was a game where we needed him to be a presence but wasn't...and that line is the one we need to count on to flip momentum when the team is dragging - ie the 2nd period last night.

I think the answer to what Kent will do is in what he has already done. They didn't re-sign Monohan who they knew well and was a great fit in the room - because his age didn't fit. They certainly aren't going to sign an older player with questionable character, big cap and term. Stay the course.
