I don't want to judge her as harshly as Chairman Jang, but I can't help but dislike her even more, what little we know about her. She seems just as willing to sacrifice her children's well-being & happiness, only for different reasons, just by standing by and doing nothing to help them at all. 😞

If this had been included, I do believe it would have been the most uncomfortable/confounded that Hajun has looked during the whole comic thus far. It's like that no fear/one fear meme -- they've only just reunited & already Sunwoo's stumbled upon his One Fear. (That degree came in handy after all!)

Oh no! Something similar happened with my mom's first dog, a German shepherd. She used to tell me and my brothers the story to really drive home the fact that a dog off-leash is always a danger/in danger.

Gunwoo being Gunwoo, I'm surprised a frowny face is his response to being held effortlessly off the ground and chastised by his boyfriend. (Not accidentally rewarding misbehavior with that one is probably ultimately doomed to failure, but I commend Hajun for trying.)

I remember now why I stopped thinking Hajun could understand SamSam -- even in the bonus comics, he never directly responds to anything (all of the many, many things) Samsek is saying. But now you've explained that part too: if Hajun did reply to cats, he'd never get any peace!

You know, my first read-through of the comic, I remember thinking for the longest time that Hajun actually could understand SamSam's speech bubbles, while Gunwoo and Sunwoo only heard meows. In any case, he definitely owes his son some kind of explanation!

It really is the Worst Timeline, especially for the main character Samsek, who's literally living out the plot of a horror movie. His dad suddenly disappears & then returns just as suddenly BUT IS NO LONGER DAD, HE'S A DOPPELGANGER! AND PAPA KNOWS! AND STILL HE LETS THE IMPOSTER INTO THEIR HOME!!!

It really is the Worst Timeline, especially for the main character Samsek, who's literally living out the plot of a horror movie. His dad suddenly disappears & then returns just as suddenly BUT IS NO LONGER DAD, HE'S A DOPPELGANGER! AND PAPA KNOWS! AND STILL HE LETS THE IMPOSTER INTO THEIR HOME!!!
Oh, that longing look at the toy juuuust out of reach. Somebody needs to fetch the toy for that good dog.

Off-topic, but every time I see that house with its beautifully landscaped terrace, I start wondering where the bodies are buried. (I mean, considering a lot of the gardens I work on belong to people who became well-off through somewhat mysterious means, it's maybe not all that odd to think about.)
