Cloth for me 100% has a place, it can feel nicer than disposables, but then laundry
Khord was not a meaningful factor (he wasnt on staff) - he's just a fella who is always looking for some time in the spotlight. He's also an insufferable idiot.
The real root cause of the failure of the con, was we made it un-fun to work - too many sacred cows, too many internal politics, too much 'consensus thru exhaustion'. We had all the comorbidities one would expect from an event in Seattle, it was the best and the worse of PNW culture all at once. 3/3
The reluctance to kick people out was another issue, and it wasn't about harshing the vibe, it was a bunch of people who were GSF#1 carriers in charge, so we were too lenient, all of us grew up in a much smaller closet knit fandom too. 2/
You're close to it, we were afraid to acknowledge the problem internally because it would be a 'bad look'.

The fact that we couldn't speak honestly internally about this issue was an issue, or tell our attendees to behave. 1/
At least I'm not the only one who does this.
The man who owns the press controls the speech.
What would the logistical complexity of everyone only using diapers be? ;-)
The registration department, at at least two of the top 10 cons are better than 50% cubs -
A little late to the party, but its more than that - we've been a part of furry fandom since the literal beginning in the 80's too - one of the first fursuiters was also a babyfur.
Agreed - give love, give grace, give kindness, give of yourself, give of your time to build things that will outlast you, help others, protect others when they need it, all of that is what being a man is to me.
Indeed, Bob Hill, one of the first dozen or so furries was a babyfur
Cuter now - also you're still pretty skinny in my book.
I generally like my coffee with that hazelnut coffee creamer stuff that is mostly chemicals. Tasty, but perhaps not healthy.

Though I avoid coffee when not at home due to diaper smell reasons.
