Bought one thing in the Prime Day sale a 16TB HDD to expand my server storage!

This’ll be the last external drive though; planning a JBOD setup next year with a few big disks instead of the current 8 externals + 2 internals

As an aside, since we started naming storms, deaths from winter storms in the UK and Ireland have significantly declined

Cause people are more aware of the horrible weather and take better precautions, like staying at home or avoiding exposed trees

It’s daft that something so simple saves lives

I believe they only take real names that are used in Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands

At least that’s what they said last year when I submitted Gazkhull!

A storm can also get a Spanish or Portuguese name too, but only if they register it first and it comes up from there

Sorry for the delay publishing this one, my editor needed some more time with it, but hope you enjoy it, this jumps us forward a few years in the career of Ó Treasaigh, whom I intend to write a lot more about. It had been three days since the fleet had jumped into the Lykoros system, and they were finally entering orbit of the system’s only inhabited world, the planet for which the system was named. Commodore Farah Naderi stood in the CIC, leaning over the station of the main communications officer, something that, to many of her crew, looked somewhat unnatural.
