The amazing team at US Embassy Prague, 2025

I’m so proud of everything we’ve accomplished together and deeply grateful for their talent, dedication, and heart.

What an incredible honor it’s been to serve alongside each and every one.

Love you all.
Judge Mark Wolf resigned from the federal bench after nearly 40 years. Not because he was tired. Because staying silent became intolerable.

I wrote about why his decision matters.

Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.

On Havel’s birthday, I’ve been thinking about his call to live in truth. It still feels like the most radical act of all.

Shared values aren't just words in speeches. They're how we treat each other when it matters most. Right now, the human cost of abandoning these values far exceeds the financial cost of defending them. My thoughts here:

On Memorial Day, we honor Americans who died for freedom.

In towns across Czechia, I remember standing beside families and strangers who have not forgotten.

Their names live on. Not just in stone. In the hearts of those who still care.

Let us all care.
