I've seen this crowd chant "We Want [David!] Carr" before, I know the "We Want Mac" chant is close

We might need to move the turnover slider down a bit

_He's_ gone through an experience?

New column: How the Cowboys, Chiefs, and Lions fueled their second-half comebacks on Sunday, including why I don't think Saquon Barkley's struggles are a product of an injury and why Detroit's sack rate is deceiving www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/...
Barnwell makes sense of three wild comebacks: How the Cowboys, Lions and Chiefs flipped the script
Dallas was down 21. Detroit was down 10. And Kansas City was down 11. What did we learn as all three rallied in the second half to win their Week 12 games?

"You could feel a little momentum going your way" literally as Turpin is stumbling and fumbling the football away

Remember: kicking to go up 6 is a great way to give opponent better field position and lose by 1.

Our model strongly agreed with Giants decision.

Eight consecutive throws for Daniel Jones here in the fourth quarter. Two completions for 13 yards. A little stunned they haven't tried to lean on Jonathan Taylor.

Aaron Rodgers watching Caleb Williams hit a free play up the seam for a TD has to hurt.

Titans special teams have improved more than any other unit in football this year, including Colts offense.
Chimere Dike is the best returner in the league

What a season Eric Wilson is having for the Vikings. He's been one of the best middle linebackers in the league since he got in the lineup.

Completely blown coverage by the Lions on Tracy in the flat.

Running Leak with Ashton Dulin was nasty
Shane Steichen put the Chiefs in a spin cycle on that drive

All targets going to the Colts' less prominent dudes

They haven't been gimmes on fourth down, but Jets punting twice in Ravens territory just feels like it probably isn't a great long-term strategy

This is a really nice play from Panthers rookie DB Corey Thornton (31). Carolina spins their safeties at the snap and plays Tampa-2, so Thornton has to bail and get to the deep half. He reads out the play and sees Cousins trying to throw the seam route and nearly picks it off.

My feeling is that he's probably pretty good, might be great, might be OK! Which isn't very satisfying!
Enjoy arguing this point! Better you than me!

Sirianni's made it to as many Super Bowls and won as many Super Bowls in four years as the entire organization did over the prior 40 years! The offense has averaged 30 points per game in the playoffs! All of this stuff just happened!
Regular season record isn't everything and siriani has a tail end of a usually bad run ahead of him. Howie is the genius. He made siriani hire coordinators who stunk. He'll do it again when this offense fails in the playoffs. Siriani is a coat tail rider.
November 22, 2025 at 12:12 AM
Since Howie took over as GM in 2010, the winning percentage of his various coaches...

Andy Reid: 22-26 (.458)
Chip Kelly: 26-21 (.553)
Doug Pederson: 42-37-1 (.531)
Nick Sirianni: 56-22 (.718)
The eagles have been good for decades under one regime.

Do you think Doug pederson is an all time coach?
November 21, 2025 at 11:56 PM
Good example of the gap between reality and Sirianni.

Seifert took over a team that had just won the Super Bowl with two Hall of Fame quarterbacks on the same roster.

Sirianni took over a team that had just gone 4-11-1 with Carson Wentz, a rookie Jalen Hurts, and Nate Sudfeld.
Because he's not. George Seifert had an all time type record following Bill Walsh in SF. Remember when he coached Carolina? Nobody else does either. When Philly eventually falls apart, he'll get a job somewhere else and be predictably terrible.

Yesterday, I wrote about Nick Sirianni, whose resume is arguably the best in modern NFL history through 4+ years and yet somehow can't convince a meaningful amount of people that he's a good coach www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/...
Barnwell: Is Nick Sirianni the most scrutinized successful coach in NFL history?
The Eagles' head coach is 56-22 over five seasons, including two trips to the Super Bowl. Yet he's constantly under the microscope. Why?

Bills convert a fourth-and-1 in their own territory and give themselves another chance to run into a big play and we get a 45-yard James Cook TD.

New column: Nick Sirianni has what might be the best resume through four seasons of any coach in NFL history. He's also somehow the problem with the Eagles? Trying to figure out why Sirianni inspires so much skepticism inside and outside of Philly www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/...
