What a strange turn of phrase.... "I left with all my children". He is almost saying... we don't always leave with all our children.

This would be totally beyond any Government to implement. How a business runs it's errr...... business is not the business of any Government.

Owen you ARE a political Journalist, why don't you ask him?

Is this an admission that Reform is racist.... it looks like it to me.

Every man needs a hobby.

It's just gotchas and sound bites for their editor or podcasts. The media has gone down a rabbit hole of selfishness and society will pay for in ultra right Governments.

Billericay includes Basildon and is a traditional Tory seat.No surprise it would vote Reform,so no loss to Labour.Thurrock is the next door seat which is already Reform. Both are very much a Blue collar/Working class type of area which will lose the most under a Reform Government... go figure.

It seems all of it from the resignation letter.

Seems things are gradually getting better but getting tighter to escape. Probably only Forest and us in the running now.

The backbench MPs have been successful in the past changing Starmers mind. At the moment they are in a very strong position.

Two birds with one stone for Starmer. He needs to be brave enough to see it through.

I remember buying it and couldn't wait to get home and play it. Being a Kraftwerk fan side 2 hit the spot for me but it was a total surprise to hear that style of music from Bowie.... surprised by him again!!

The use of "illegal immigrants" for asylum seekers drives me mad. Reform types know exactly what they are doing, nobody knows how many "illegal immigrants" there are in the Country. If you are "illegal" you would get nothing especially a Council House. Illegals are basically on the run.

I am really getting into the new Stouts and Porters. More difficult to find but also the Milds are great.
February 6, 2026 at 12:56 PM
Good point. Mandelson is not related to the abuse of young girls just plain old greed. It's always one or the other sex or money.
February 6, 2026 at 12:43 PM
It's Porters, Stouts and Mild for me. Lager is for the Ladies and Louts.
February 6, 2026 at 11:16 AM
He has developed a Peston style of performance. When speaking about Starmer his voice lowers like someone has died. He also uses "I think", I don't care what you think just give us the facts

Money can make you arrogant then that arrogance puts a distance from happiness.
February 5, 2026 at 5:26 PM
Farage does not want to take a pay cut to become PM. His stupid disastrous policies are designed to make that a certainty.
February 5, 2026 at 5:02 PM
Looks like a Saga local TV news station. So funny the "need to check that's the right way around". As usual telling both sides of the story is not important to GB news.
February 5, 2026 at 3:27 PM
Strange then that the backbench Labour MPs have been bringing the Cabinet in line so often.

That's enough internet for today.

I have confronted people with this question especially when comparing Starmer and Truss. If you ask them "How has Starmer changed your life for the worse? " it stumps them as well.
