Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Sackville Rivers Association annual dinner and auction with some colleagues, representing 3 levels of government. The SRA are stewards of our beloved rivers who do amazing work with limited resources. Not all heroes wear capes, some wear rubber boots.
More disinformation. Is that what I believe? Where did you hear that? Have you been following my platform and seeing what I am trying to achieve in Lower Sackville- Beaver Bank with regard to Active Transportation?
Really? Patting myself on the back. Trying to have a little fun with residents. Beaver Bank was misspelled, not the graffiti.Hundreds wanted it changed for years and have tried. Not one complaint has been received from the community regarding this intersection or its perceived dangers like you claim.
And Beaver Bank spelled correctly, long standing issue lol
Something looks a little different today with the signage at Beaver Bank Road and Glendale. 😜
Today’s schedule consists of a monthly community safety meeting with the RCMP, a winter operations stakeholder meeting with staff and a resident meeting in North Beaver Bank.
🇨🇦 Let’s go Blue Jays 🇨🇦
Today’s schedule consists of Audit and Finance Committee, meeting with a resident and this afternoon a send off for retiring C.A.O. Cathie O’ Toole.

And this evening cheering on the Toronto BlueJays! 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Today’s agenda consists of an offsite Regional Council Workshop with my colleagues.
Happy Thanksgiving Lower Sackville- Beaver Bank!
Happy Monday to all Toronto Blue Jays fans out there!
Today schedule consists of resident meetings, research and review for Regional Council tomorrow and Northwest Regional Council this evening at 6pm.
Visited Dartmouth Cove today with colleague Jean St Amand and a guided walking tour with @samaustind5.bsky.social. We chatted with residents on the trail and watched a seal nearby. Such a beautiful space.
Happy Friday! Today’s schedule consists of a cheque presentation with some colleagues to Meals on Wheels, meeting with residents, and then touring Dartmouth Cove with Coucillor Sam Austin.
Today’s schedule consists of Sackville Business Association meet n greet hosted by Souls Harbour, and a joint meeting with Councillor Young regarding future development projects throughout Sackville.
Today Kin Canada are holding a feed the need food drive and are accepting donations at Kinsmen Center on First Lake Drive and BBK Community Center on Beaver Bank Road. Please help stuff their boxes with non perishable goods.
Thank you Karen and George for your generous donations.
Had a blast today participating in the annual Dartmouth Community Bike Ride with some Council colleagues,HRP, HRM staff and community members. We rode to the Shubie Pump Track and back, then finished off with some bbq courtesy of Chefs Becky and Nancy!
Today schedule consists of a meeting with a local sports club and then this afternoon I’ll be joining Deputy Mayor Mancini and some Council Colleagues for the 12th Annual Dartmouth Community Bike ride. I have my bike all tuned up and ready to go!
Hey Rasta, I’m with you there and I think this hike is outrageous. Halifax Water are their own Utility with their own CEO, that operates independently from HRM. The rates are set by the NS Regulatory Board. Mayor Fillmore has written a letter to the board asking for gradual increase over 5 years.
There wil be a new crosswalk with RA-5 flashing beacons installed on Cobequid Road and Hillside Avenue near civic #111.
The bus stops will also be relocated to accommodate the new crossing. This work will be carried out as part of the 25/26 Capital Budget.
Never mind I think I know what happened. The top screen changed faster than the voting screen.
That is not the correct voting screenshot. Maynard street passed unanimously and more than 3 votes were cast against Dartmouth cove motion
