It takes a village. The situation has never been more dire. Her mental health is declining so rapidly. My partner & I are two people that can just barely afford to be comfortable, and are willing to make that sacrifice to support her.

I miss my mother. I want her to see me get married & be a grandmother to future children. She has struggled and been abused for so long, and I just want to give her a warm bed & hot meals. She has a broken foot, and her vehicle was repossessed. She can’t survive without my help.

She has been gaslit, and deals with severe psychological abuse every day. She was hospitalized twice this last year for infections that went septic. Her abuser has completely isolated her from her support system, physically & emotionally. She has lost almost all her belongings in a storage unit.

My mom has a friend with lupus (which is what I most likely have, SLE specifically) that lives in Nevada as well, and she literally drives to Idaho to get healthcare for her lupus 😭 and my insurance is a Nevada only insurance

I wish that I could win the lottery. I don’t even have the luxury of being able to have my own children, because I will have to get IVF treatment (which often has low success rates) which I don’t envision myself ever having the money to do.

I have missed so much work that I simply do not have pto. I can’t remember the last time I was able to actually get a full day of coverage. I can barely keep food in the fridge, and I have a 17 year old to take care of on top of everything else.

There is nothing that I can do for symptom management past trying to stay active when I can. I will have to be put on immunosuppressant drugs, which my PCP is unable to do. I already have 6 different prescriptions on my nightstand. How many more will I have to live with?

or until they are so damaged, my body is having obvious physical symptoms. I haven’t showered in days because I can hardly stand long enough to be in the shower. If I were to get a WFM job, I would lose my vital health insurance. Can’t afford for Sean to pay for it if we got married.

My autoimmune disease has caused my ovaries to become insufficient and will likely cause them to fail entirely. I am going through menopause at 29 years old. I won’t be able to know how my other organs are affected until I see a specialist (which I would be shocked if I see them before 2026)

I am completely ineligible for any short or long term disability insurance because of my preexisting health problems. My workplace doesn’t even qualify for FMLA because it has less than 50 employees. My rent is two thousand dollars a month, which I don’t know how I’ll pay in 3 days

I’ve had a fever for more than two months. I’ve lost 30 pounds in the last 5 months with less activity & exercise and less food I’m able to eat. My right wrist is completely locked with almost no way to even roll it.

I haven’t been here much because I’ve been so overwhelmed with life. I’ve had to miss so much work—completely unpaid—because of how rapidly my health is deteriorating. There is one specialist in the state I can go to, and can’t even schedule an appointment for a month.
