I've been reading the Oz books by L Frank Baum as I got them for Christmas. The 6th one, the Emerald City of Oz, has the coolest races so far, like the Phanfasms, evil spirits who are so good at illusions it's unclear what they really look like.

So far Ozma of Oz is the best of the Baum Oz books but I'm curious about the remaining ones. Next it's Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz.

It's always nice when a game's trophies are more chill than the requirements to 100% it, in Scarlet Nexus I don't need to do all the grindy objectives like "Use Brain Drive 300 times" I can just get my characters up 3 more levels to finish the tech tree and I'll have platinumed it.

Started reading the L Frank Baum Oz books for the first time. The second one, the Marvelous Land of Oz, was rougher than Wonderful Wizard because despite the rightful ruler being a girl the whole subplot with Jinjur just falls into all the stereotypes about girls that were avoided in the first book.

Sandi Peggie is basically just cousin Mel from Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer - "Oh no, absolutely nothing happened, I'm gonna sue!" She should find it impossible to ever find a nursing job again purely because she's a toxic employee who's known for suing her workplaces.

Started playing Mystic Heroes on PS2. I've never seen this before - on the character select screen when you highlight someone to play as and hover over them, then run back into the circle's centre and start fighting the other characters so that you can see their playstyle. That's cool.

Whenever I'm in CEX I'm like "I've heard a lot of good things about this £60 new game that everyone is playing... wait a minute, what's this £10 ps5 game about a squirrel with a gun?" and then I have more fun with Squirrel with a Gun than I have with Assassins Creed Origins.
