@embeded-project.bsky.social was presented at last weeks National Bioeconomy Forum visit to @mtu.ie
📊 #EMBEDED took part in the Irish Bioeconomy Forum at Munster Technological University (@mtu.ie), sharing early insights into how agricultural residues can be transformed into valuable resources, and highlighting initial work towards sustainable solutions for both agriculture and industry.

It was great to welcome Irelands National Bioeconomy Forum to @mtu.ie and Tralee for the last two days for networking, lab visits, research poster showcases and talks about MTUs bioeconomy research activity. Well done to all the team and thanks to all our visitors for a stimulating two days ☘️♻️🇮🇪
Here at @mtu.ie as part of our @ruralbiorefarm.bsky.social project we are analysing various different #Irish grassland biomass sources to understand their potential for green biorefining in #Ireland🍀! Keep tuned as we will scale this research later this year!

In Ireland, MTU, UCD and Carbery will evaluate the integration of #grass #biorefinery and #pyrolysis systems to produce #biochar from grass press cake & assess the use of biochar as a rumen dietary additive for GHG mitigation, and as a sustainable #biofertiliser

@embeded-project.bsky.social
In recent weeks we kicked-off a new #demonstration Horizon EU #Bioeconomy project called #EMBEDED. The will support demonstrations of modular biochar production and application in different EU regions and primary sectors. embeded.eu
