We don't have all the data in for this year yet, but should know more soon. Kestrels have been in significant decline and sadly are now on the Irish Red List, so the overall trend is a negative one. What a treat to see this behaviour at such close quarters! birdwatchireland.ie/birds/kestrel/

This bird ringed in 2017, now 9 years old, was spotted on its breeding grounds in Berneray, Scotland for the first time this year.
