In life, she worked in animal rescue—patching up the forgotten, the abused, the ones no one else fought for. She believed animals deserved kindness… even when humans didn’t. But there’s only so much cruelty one soul can witness. One night, she finally snapped—killing an animal abuser and fleeing the scene. On the road out, a cat darted into her path. She swerved to save it. Hit a tree. Died instantly. Irony is cruel like that. Now she’s in the Pride Ring of Hell, carrying the same rage, guilt, and devotion she had in life—only sharper. Still protective. Still dangerous. Still unable to look away when someone helpless is in danger. Hell didn’t make her a monster. Jetto and Valree are the kind of toxic couple you can’t stop watching. They argue like it’s foreplay. Threats are their love language. Silence is never peaceful—it’s just loaded. Jetto falls first, hard and unapologetic, and refuses to pretend he doesn’t. Valree fights it with teeth and claws, swearing she hates him while never actually walking away. Everyone knows they’re a disaster. Everyone knows they shouldn’t work. And yet. Jetto sees through Valree’s rage to the pain underneath. Valree sees past his armor to the man who was never given a choice—and still chose her. They’re sharp edges and bad decisions, but somehow they fit. They don’t heal each other. They survive each other. And against all logic, you root for them—because when the world comes for one of them, the other becomes absolutely lethal. Toxic? Yes. Devoted? Worse. 🖤🔥
