I don't even want to own the best version. It feels as though sometimes I need to do tons of research just to find something that's not a scam or made to break quickly.

Giant ass turkey in my fridge that I don't wanna cook. Gonna go all Frankenstein on it and release it back into the wild instead; seems like less work.

Exposure is maybe a misnomer here. Kendrick saw his album sales double and streams increase by over 400% for his more popular songs. It's a good marketing/sales too even for popular artists.

@bsky.app it would be nice if when I report a post for 'unwanted sexual content', it was immediately removed from my timeline and I didn't have to go through another step of hiding the post as well.

The problem with most machine-based random number generators is that they’re not TRULY random, so if you need genuine randomness it is sometimes necessary to link your code to an external random process like a physical noise source or the current rate of US tariffs on a given country.

The problem is that "sometimes wrong" is well over 50% of the time. This renders them useless for someone that doesn't already have a good base understanding of what they are using it to get answers for.

She doesn't have to represent the community. She is transgender, if you just dead name anyone you don't like you are no better than those who are trying to make it so transgender people struggle to exist as themselves. Please don't have so much hate in your heart, it breeds toxicity.

You really shouldn't dead name someone, even her, it just shows that you also think it's okay to disrespect someone's identity if you don't like them and empowers other people to do the same.

We had a rooster loose in our neighborhood for a couple of weeks once. Every morning he'd annoy everyone; I think people had enough at some point, they were out trying to catch him with sheets and pillow cases.

Try out Wildermyth. You form an adventuring party and they grow old and eventually retire and then you play new people, sometimes it's even the children of your old party members.

Everyone I know with a MacBook loves it and I keep seeing all these posts about how good they are, however, I've had a M1 for work for the last few years; it's caused me nothing but problems. I have to take it into the Apple store at least 3x a year for them to fix something I'm not able to myself.
