Norge er største bidragsyter til et fond som skal investere 1 250 milliarder kroner i obligasjoner i framvoksende økonomier. Deler av profitten skal gå til land som verner #regnskogen. Fondet skal etter hvert stå på egne bein og bli evigvarende. #klima #TFFF

Gaza’s children are entering their third year without school. As the ceasefire takes hold, @unrwa.org is trying to resume in-person teaching, but faces a plethora of obstacles and #Israel has restricted the entry of educational supplies.

Until October 7, 2023, UNRWA provided education to almost 300,000 children between the ages of 5 and 14. They are now entering their third year without school...

Det siste året har jeg jobbet en god del med spørsmålet om hvor mye av statens #oljeformue som blir reinvestert i #fornybar #energi i utlandet. Det har vært snakk om promiller, men i år har Oljefondet mangedoblet slike investeringer etter en treg start. Du kan lese saken på Rundskue24.

Denne uka undertegnet #Norge en avtale med #Kroatia om at landet får 1.5 milliarder kroner i norsk støtte fram til 2028 fra de såkalt #EØS-midlene. Midlene skal finansiere samarbeid med Kroatia om grønn omstilling, utdanning i distriktene og justissektoren.

Også energi og næringsutvikling blir viktig, ifølge Utenriksdepartementet. I Kroatia er Innovasjon Norge, Direktoratet for høyere utdanning og kompetanse, Domstolsadministrasjonen, Kriminalomsorgsdirektoratet og NVE blant norske institusjoner involvert.
