I absolutely feel safer in Louisville & Minneapolis after the Trump administration just canceled the consent decrees. They weren't totally effective, but at least the police brass cared during them. Guess we're all open season now.

I'm old now. I was raised in hardship, but my Veteran father made me so proud of him. I was a proud American. My life wasn't easy, especially living through the 70's stagnation, the high unemployment in the late 80s and the 2008 crash. I remained proud & hopeful. Now I'm not. The rot is too deep.

The writing was on the wall for NOAA a few weeks ago when the agency was prohibited from communication with its Canadian counterparts. The cuts this week will impact the timeliness of warnings, flight safety and prepositioning assets to areas of highest risk.
