As we head towards next years Holyrood elections one thing is clear. Unionist partys try to put a negative narrative on Scotland. Never a positive slant for the Union. Why? There is none.

Just like the BBC in Scotland, Laura Kuenssberg is stepping up the deliberate errors to knock The SNP. Twice she claimed the UK Gov was supplying £10bn to build warships on the Clyde. This is false. The £10bn will come from Norway after it signed a deal with BAE systems.

I'm pretty speechless: my local Labour candidate who last year merrily paraded Starmer's "six pledges" - which of course Labour failed to follow through on - is now standing for Holyrood next year making new "promises". Are voters really that gullible?

I am opposed to mandatory digital ID - people should be able to go about their daily lives without such infringements.

I have always been in favour of an English Independence movement but they neither have nor need one. They already have independence and full control over their destiny. They have what they desire with the added bonus of governing over the other constituent countries of the United Kingdom.
