Lately I re-installed linux on this old eePC with 2GB of ram, this time with Arch (30 second boot)
I've been very satisfied playing with it lately, adhering to the unix philosophy is a great feeling & only using what's absolutely necessary.
Perhaps is this what tuning an old car would feel like?

The new MacOs UI is coming out soon with a more aqua aesthetic. If there was a desktop environment that replicated something similar on linux land, would you use it?

Today my old friend is getting newer software - it's very overdue
Its sortof getting the old-man treatment: back massage on the storage and replacing old memories with new adventures
The thing keeping it alive is simply the fact it has a 64-bit architecture via the Pentium 4

Half of it's life its been running a version of Linux
RAM: 2GB, that's all it can handle
Purpose: mom checks email and firefox
