She’s also an absolute sweetheart and isn’t afraid to bite the hand that feeds when big daddy Disney prioritizes shareholders over human rights. One hell of a woman and has the potential to be one of the greats of her generation.

Now how’s about we also support our trans communities, stop bending the knee to the rich, and stop platforming bigots and hate mongers while AGREEING WITH HALF OF WHAT THEY SAY?! You are in the position to make California the absolute beacon of awesome and you fail to clear some very small hurdles.

his electronics (“how do I move things from my old phone to my new phone” or “we got a new cable box, how do I set it up so the BluRay player will still work”). We’ve bonded so much over the last three years because he finally let go of a rivalry that started, for him, in 1991 with a switch.

and I opened it, resoldered a broken connection, and it started working again. Now we have a fun relationship where I call him for help on construction (“I need to build a stand for the new TV” or “I need to build a cage to keep the cats from getting under the bed”) and he calls me for help with

the need for a switch entirely because the new VCR had multiple inputs. I was eight and it began the long saga of him realizing he couldn’t win with modern electronics and being bitter about it. He finally came to terms with it three years ago when he brought his broken soundbar over on Christmas

My dad set up an A/B switch from the VCR to the Nintendo and then from the Nintendo to the TV. One of the few times I remember him being excited was when he came home with an A/B/C switch immediately followed by his first “my son beat me at a thing” when I showed him I could use the VCR to bypass

not only to educate people early, but also to clear them from the field so we as a people aren’t stuck deciding between the lesser evil in the primary, but also in the actual election. We should be championing those who represent the best of us, not accepting the worst because they “could win.”

You’re not. I think as liberals, we’re trained to see anyone running under the masthead as better than the alternative and most people will sign on without reading deeper. At this stage in a race, when names start to pop up, it’s the right time to point out why they aren’t good, viable, or worthy

I never clicked with the series but damn that game looks pretty.

Nothings stopping you from doing it now. You’re an artist. Live it up, man.

The wife and I have this as our Monday night watch, every week. Even when there aren’t new episodes. Which is a little sad but hey, so is the world!

@awintory.bsky.social dude, congrats on the win. I played the game for the first time last week. My wife watched a while and said “this is beautiful. And the music…” It was a pleasure to see her light up when I told her it was your handiwork and now she wants to pepper you with even more questions.

Not the best place to do it, admittedly, but I could use your help on a P1P Jeopardy Quiz. Any chance I could tangle you in to help me with some info that’s Phil specific?

I had to skip over so many favorites, either because they are part of a larger arc or because they spoil some major plot threads but these episodes should give you a good taste. And if you get three in and decide you’re loving it, skip the list and just go for the series! Let me know what you think!

S05E06 Happy Trails

Another silly fun episode but one that shows how even when the show gets silly, they will use the platform to make a point.

S04E20 The Gods Must Be Crazy

A silly episode for sure but Denny being vetted by the GOP for a possible presidential run? Hell yeah.

S04E17 The Court Supreme

Holy cow, Alan going after the Supreme Court is something to behold. Again, this was twenty years ago and if the show were around today, I would love to see this revisited.

S03E18 Son of the Defender

A rare sentimental episode that makes use of Shatner’s extraordinary career in a really creative way. If anyone would appreciate what they did here, it’s you.

S03E10 The Nutcrackers

“Michael was a gay Jew from Mexico” has been in my holster for years because of this one. Really fun episode and another costume party. This show loves its costume parties.

S02E26 Spring Fever

Parker Posey did a brief run and this episode is just a lot of fun with some great guest appearances.

S02E23 Race IPSA

This one made the list because I know how much you love Peter MacNicol and he is swinging big, even for him, as Denny’s therapist who tries for suicide by Denny so his family can collect on his life insurance.

S02E19 Stick It

One of Alan’s best closings that strikes really close to home in today’s climate. It really makes me wish they would bring it back because if this is what we got in the Bush years, I could only imagine how hard they would go with this regime.

S02E09 Gone

I love this one because it shows Boston Legal doing treating a serious thing seriously before spiraling into silliness but still sticking the emotional landing.

Ok, here we go!

S02E03 Finding Nimmo

Betty White on trial for murder and Alan and Denny in the great outdoors then being unapologetically American. This is a favorite episode of a lot of the community.
