The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

Good, but it would be better if they were required to build their own renewable energy infrastructure. It’s still the ERCOT grid, which is not 100% renewable.

Whatever happened to the ecoterrorists? Sabotaging coal plants sounds like something they would do. At least enough to make them a costly liability.
