I'll say I played the OG Halo since launch in 2001, I've played through Halo 1, 2 and 3 over a hundred times and we even used to be glitch hunters. I've played through the other halos at least once, and have read the first 3 halo books.

So the problem with venezuela is that disposing a dictator is good, but replacing that dictator with a puppet is not much better and we won't see the results of that until people no longer care about the situation, so everyone will get off scot free

I mean obviously if he didn't renounce all that stuff I wouldn't exist, because he married a non-jewish woman that was my grandmother. So if he was a practicing Jew he would have married someone else.

I've been thinking, my grandfather fled Nazi Germany as a Jew, but most of his family was killed. So, I assume due to the trauma, he renounced both his Judaism and his German heritage. Because of that I neither speak German as a second language nor am I Jewish.

For context I had a lot of discussions with your coworker about physics, but didn't realize he had a degree in physics until 6 years later. Now that I know he has a degree im finding think about him differently and see him as more knowledgeable than before

Holding myself to account: I'm thinking of my coworker differently now that Ive discovered they have a degree in physics. I shouldn't do this, I should not put "degree in physics" as a magical standard to say "oh this person understands physics".

My mod now has enough upvotes to be have a perfect 5/5 star rating on steam. I've gotten 7.5k current subscribers (8k total) and I released a new update that added 3 new vehicles and 1 new weapon

Just fyi the only thing you have to do is submit a picture of your face (or rather, anyone's face), it gets confirmed by AI and then is immediately deleted, no drivers license or any ID required. Extremely easy to get past

And yeah it's good, I still prefer 40k rogue trader but expedition 33 is probably my second favorite (third if you include poe 2) game is the year.

Honourable Mention: Pillars of Eternity 2. This game would be just slightly below Rogue Trader if it wasn't for the fact I technically started it in December 2024. But Pillars 2 has a fantastic story with great mechanics. A little lighter tone than the first (which I didn't like) but still amazing.

1. Rogue Trader: This game was the only game that truly hooked me. The story, the companions, the mechanics, all are absolutely top notch. This game has been cemented as one of my favourite games of ALL time. Highly, HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone who wants to play

2. Avowed: I'm surprised Avowed is this high up the list. When I finished it I felt like it got repetitive at the end, but the more I think about it the more I realized how much I enjoyed it. The roleplaying aspect of the game is top notch and I really think more people should play this gem.

3. Outer Worlds 2: I loved the story of Outer Worlds, it truly felt like a high budget and reactive obsidian experience. The writing was fantastic, but it was a little let down by an inconsistent tone, and the inability to join the bad guys. A solid game I might play again later.

4. KCD 2: Kingdom come was a fantastic and reactive RPG, by all means it SHOULD have been my favourite. But I compare it too much to the first one, the first one was more simulated, more hardcore and less handholdy, so although I loved the game, I was a little disappointed in how it was streamlined.

5. South of Midnight: A great linear adventure game that dips into mythology that I've never heard before. Really well animated and voice acted, let down by some repetitive gameplay but it's altogether a solid game to play if you're looking for just a fun adventure
