A 450-yo oak is felled without permission by a Toby Carvery (don’t eat there), who falsely claimed it was "dead".

Out and about in the northern lakes today. Sunny intervals, breezy but warm enough with a micro fleece. Glorious. Weather on the change now much cooler and some rain but still some sunshine.
