Nioh 1 is absolutely not bad but it DOES have plenty of room for improvement, mostly in it's lack of enemy variety and some pretty mid level design.

Honestly I really liked the game and had a lot of fun with it. I understand why many thought it was "mid" but personally I just didn't really feel the same.

They didn't so much as "remove" Glory Kills so much as it's more just downplayed. They're still *sort of* there. Just got to be jumping while an enemy is in a stagger state. Also I once saw a YouTube comment from Hugo saying that putting in GK's just didn't really mesh well with the new system.

They fixed the mixing months ago. Now it's actually loud as shit as it should be.

It's the only one in the series that actually makes me feel like i'm going on an adventure, and exploring a world that I actually care to explore and is rewarding to do so.

I don't know I don't think I agree with that. Nioh 1's tutorial level is exactly what I would expect from a first level and Executioner is also what I would expect from a tutorial boss in terms of difficulty. The level after that isn't much different. Onyroki is a push over compared to Mezuki.

It's certainly more friendly to get into than Nioh 2 going "Fuck you here's a legit level with a miniboss at the beginning and an actual first boss that's tough as shit for a first boss"

I still think the Spirits from TAG1 are still worse than the Stone Imps from TAG2 honestly. I like the idea of the spirits but forcing a weapon mod that severely hinders your mobility in order to kill them in a game about constantly staying mobile just never sat right with me.

True but I hope the game really shows how the corporations take over Strangereal. Since 7 really hints at AC3's timelime and considering 8 is literally right at the start of it.

Would of prefered 4 but Zero is pretty good too. I'm guessing that means Zero is going to be important to the plot of AC8. And if that's the case, then fuck I don't want it to be the fucking Belkans again.

Absolutely yes, you should. Honestly the first open field level isn't all that big. At least not to me. It looks super huge but it really isn't.

The reason why we're getting Wolfenstein 3 so late is because The New Colossus didn't sell well and Youngblood was a flop so they decided to just put all of their cards into Indiana Jones instead.

You can still do it before post-game but it's the only DLC that has some (albiet inconsequential) post-game dialogue.

It's ufortunately not that great of a DLC either. I was most disappointed by that one.

The end stretch of this game might be one of my favorites in any RPG. Just really cool all around.

The best part of that quest (at least to me) is hearing all the actors doing their best to speak in Italian and doing pretty good, though you can clearly tell they're not fluent, meanwhile you hear that one NPC who is obviously voiced by a real Italian and it's just like: "yep, that's an Italian".

Those 2010's Tomb Raider games are much more gameified than Uncharted and that's why I will always prefer those games to Uncharted.
