I hope that at least some of the “Christians” who support this morally repugnant human being will figure it out: No one is driving younger people away from Christianity as well as you are, since you clearly don’t give a damn about your own stated moral principles - or even just basic human decency.

1. The six non-retiring Senators of the eight “Democratic” yeses.
2. Chuck Schumer.
3. Any Senator who voted no but does not (a) publicly criticize the eight “Democratic” yeses, or (b) publicly demand Schumer’s resignation from leadership.

Finding myself in a reflective mood today, I decided to reread Humberto Eco’s 1995 essay “Ur-Fascism.” Meditating on the definition & essential properties of fascism, Eco identified 14 key features, only one of which is needed “to allow fascism to coagulate around it."
