Next #OnlyConnect wall! GCSE Maths. Create 4 groups of 4 and name what links each category. Watch out for any terms that could appear in more than one group. Solution tomorrow. #maths #gcsemaths #mathschat

Trying to find some good maths teacher accounts that I've missed on here, any recommendations?

What I love about this question is that you need to see fractions of amounts as operators as well as see efficient methods of multiplying fractions. If you teach fractions of amounts and multiplying fractions as separate ideas the link is much harder to make.

A nice problem I've used in the past to promote reading and looking for patterns in problems before attempting to solve.

What is the value of 1/2 of 2/3 of 3/4 of 4/5 of 5/6 of 6/7 of 7/8 of 8/9 of 9/10 of 1000? #maths #gcsemaths #mathsteachers

do you use Sparx? If so they have all the QLAs for past papers and they're linked to Sparx codes. support.sparx.co.uk/docs/questio...

New wall as there was some interest yesterday. Create 4 groups of 4 and name what links each group. I think this is slightly harder than the last one. Puzzgrid link: puzzgrid.com/grid/105543
