the *OS26 update is BY FAR the buggiest I ever went through as a user.
it definitely seems like every interaction waits for the end of an animation to perform the action you intend, which breaks regularly.

I've been a bit in disbelief recently on our industry: we've never had hardware that fast & cheap, and rather than making our programs more efficient to make them fast with lower resources, we started shipping code that take orders of magnitude more CPU cycles to perform the exact same tasks.

from *very scientific* assessment considering the average tech architecture & hosting choices, I estimate that startups generally pay AWS about 10-50 times what they would pay if they didn't over engineer stuff and just rented actual servers
