With a travel warning in effect, response times for CBU may be delayed as City crews continue clearing roadways. We appreciate the community’s patience as crews work to address service needs as quickly and safely as possible.

CBU crews identified the source of the leak in the area of S Curry Pike and W Gifford Road earlier this morning and have completed the water main repair. Despite today’s bitter cold conditions, crews completed the work without any service interruptions.

Yesterday the motor that powers Low Service Pump #4 at the Monroe Water Treatment Plant was successfully removed so it can be serviced. This 700 horsepower motor is one of four that help move water from the intake tower on Lake Monroe to the treatment plant.
