News, governance, and politics in and around Culpeper County, Virginia. Let's see how this goes.
El Gordo, fresh off of his receipt of the FIRST EVER FIFA Peace Prize, is pressuring the International Criminal Court in The Hague to grant him and his sycophants circle preemptive immunity from war crime prosecution. He wouldn't need it if he'd stop killing people on the open sea.

CNN reports that there were survivors in 3 of the boat strikes. One set was sent to their home country, but the other two were murdered - the one by repeated missile strikes and the other by being abandoned to die of exposure. Both of the latter are blatant violations of international law.

The NYT has suggested a reason that the regime has not arrested and prosecuted alleged Venezuelan "narco-terrorists" (whatever that means). DOJ & DOD don't want to go to court, where they would have to justify their attacks on boats.

Since "remigration" is all the rage, to where should we expect to see El Gordo & Co book their own tickets?

DJT: Germany/UK
JD Vance: Ireland
Pam Bondi & Dan Bongino: Italy
Kash Patel: Uganda
Kristi Noem: Norway
Cory Lewandowski: Poland
Steven Miller: Belarus
Melania: Slovenia

Bon voyage!

El Gordo is funneling $12 billion of what he calls tariff benefits to farmers ($11 billion to crop farmers). He'll likely say that the cash comes from foreign countries, while in truth it is only a wealth transfer from American consumers to farmers.

342. That's the number of barrels of tea dumped into Boston harbor on December 16, 1773, to protest British tyranny. 342. That's my new signature in protest of regime tyranny. 342, 342, 342!

El Gordo pardoned Rep Henry Cuellar (D-TX28), who was charged with money laundering, bribery, and conspiracy. Henry immediately announced that he will run for reelection in his safely Democratic district, enraging the Orange Julius. "No more Mr Nice Guy!" he tweeted. Um, how are we going to tell?

12 days to the RELEASE OF THE EPSTEIN FILES.

The regime's rationale for the double tap strike gets weaker by the day. Now we find that the boat turned around when seeing aircraft and was destined for Suriname where the drugs were destined for Europe - but some maybe might have eventually come to the US, so we killed them all. Sad., really sad.

HCR's Dec 5 Letter from an American examines the new National Security Strategy (NSC 88). 88 is significant. In general use, "88" translates as "Heil Hitler" in white supremacist circles. The rest of NSC 88 abandons the world order in place since 1945. RESIST however, wherever you can. EPSTEIN FILES

Our very own Rep Eugene Vindman, retired Army JAG, said of yesterday's briefing by ADM Bradley, "A Navy admiral, very well regarded, with all those years of experience, shooting at shipwrecked sailors, on its face sounds absurd. So he must have gotten an order." So listen carefully to testimony.
December 5, 2025 at 1:46 PM
Heather Cox Richardson has examined ADM Bradley's remarks to Congress in last evening's Letters from an American and indicated that his rationale for killing the two Sep 2 shipwreck survivors somewhat thin. Only a proper court-martial can prove war crime guilt or innocence, so heave to, sailors!

ADM Bradley briefed Congress today on the September Caribbean boat strike. Little info coming out clarifies where in the command chain the directive to kill the two survivors originated. The admiral did say that no "no quarter" order was issued, but that doesn't much help. The precise words are key.

The Star-Exponent reports that the Co Board of Supervisors has approved Fiberlynk's expansion of hi-speed internet but hasn't yet signed a contract. Also Rep Vindman has demanded that El Gordo release info on a 2018 phone's re: the murder of Jamal Kashoggi.
December 4, 2025 at 4:13 PM
El Gordo is so pathetically desperate to build monuments to himself that he's put his name on the United States Institute of Peace building in DC. Can't wait to see that promised Arc de Trump down by the river.

Popgun Pete now claims the Bart Simpson defense - "Noone saw me, I didn't do it." He claims he didn't see the second strike on the boat, saying that all that smoke obscured the scene. He called it the "fog of war," demonstrating that he has never read Carl von Clausewiz's classic "On War."

Interesting development. An FBI list of court exhibits from Jeff Epstein's trial is in the hands of at least one online legal analyst. This will serve as a handy checklist to inventory what is AND IS NOT released by DOJ on Dec 19.
December 2, 2025 at 8:20 PM
There are reliable news reports that Popgun Pete authorized and ADM Bradley ordered the multiple strikes on that boat in the Caribbean. If true, SECDEF must be impeached and Bradley must be court-martialed in order to determine their culpability or innocence. AND WHERE ARE THE EPSTEIN FILES?!
December 2, 2025 at 11:32 AM
Maybe I missed it, but among the torrent of condemnation heaped upon the "second strike" order by former military and JAGs and lawmakers, I haven't found a single comment praising the decision. Admiral Bradley should, at a minimum, face a court-martial. The court can determine guilt or innocence.
December 1, 2025 at 11:59 PM
The then-commander of Joint Spec Ops Command, Frank M Bradley, is reported to be the officer who briefed the secure conference call on Sep 6 that the shipwrecked survivors of the first missile strike were still legitimate targets. It was he who then ordered the second attack. He is also accountable.

The Star-Exponent reports that the county Board of Supervisors expects to sign a contract on Tuesday with Fiberlynx of Orange Co to extend hi-speed internet to 1,700 customers in Culpeper Co.

I want to be perfectly clear. The murder of two men, helpless and adrift, by order of SECDEF and butressessed by COMSOCOM, IS A WAR CRIME! Popgun Pete Hegseth must have been asleep or drunk throughout his military training.

In the Illinois suit against El Gordo's insertion of NG troops into Chicago, the Solicitor General (the govt advocate) told SCOTUS that the Chicago PD refused to assist the FBI when asked for help. Harry Litman explores that after the NYT exposed it as a lie to the court.
