Will probably also effect our tourism, along with movie landscapes and wineries... Glyphosate and methane don't really scream 'Clean Green New Zealand' or '100% Pure'
As someone born on the Kapiti Coast, lived and worked in Wellington, and now living in Poriura (currently off work due to health). I'm so proud of Te Upoko o te Ika Our end of the island really fronted up And now I see why there's so many shitty articles about Wellington... #YouCan'tChangeUs 😘
And not for nothing Bluesky people > Facebook people ...And yeaaaaaaaah, fair assumption that most on Facebook are bots, but that doesn't take away from the awesomeness of people in here
I voted in the Māori ward for the first time this year, and thankfully not for the last time Pretty sad to see people literally rejoicing the removal in other areas though, a little bit of research instead of relying on sound bites, would have gone a long way 😓 #PoriruaProud
Are there any media outlets in NZ that aren't bought? I'm a Wellingtonian, so my parents had the Evening Post delivered, which morphed into Dominion Post, then The Dominion Can't go there anymore because of the Hobson Pledge stuff, Stuff has Sinead 'Vision for Wellington' Boucher...RNZ hit and miss

I think I threw up a little reading your comment 🤮 Good thing we only let the good rich people become citizens here I guess, and not those evil Poor's working 9-5
I saw a post on the local Facebook page this morning saying so far, only 25% of the eligible people had voted... If only we could take some of that redditor energy and spread it around 😅
