Is it just me or do many (older) fiction creators actually push their misogyny on anthropomorphic animals? For example, in human(oid)-centered Disney films, an animal sidekick is male 99.9% of the time. Ginga franchise (especially GNG anime) is very sexist, Watership Down 2, apparently. #nsfwartist
