Unfortunately, most of the material I received was fractured but I have seen large, beautiful unfractured pieces.
Here is one you may not be familiar with: Paso Berwyn Agate from Patagonia, Argentina. Not common at all. The agate beds where this is found was covered by a volcanic eruption in 2001. #bluewizardrocks #lapidary #agate #agates

This tumble rock is nuts! 🤯 Sun-bursty, flowery, star fishy awesomeness.

West Texas agate free form cabochon. Kokernut o6 Ranch material. I love the dark, fortified top and the golden moss below. Took a great polish. #bluewizardrocks #lapidary #agate #cabochon #cabochons
3 Swazi agates I cut slabs out of last night. These should make great cabs. The last one looked like a dud but I think it will look great cabbed too. #bluewizardrocks #lapidary #agate #agates #cabochon
Three Alimajo agates I cut last night from Agate Bay. These are the largest Alimajos I have ever cut and they are gorgeous! These will be face polished. #bluewizardrocks #lapidary #agate #agates
A bevy of inexpensive tumbled pendants now available on the Blue Wizard Rocks website. #bluewizardrocks #lapidary #pendant #pendants #rocktumbling

Highlights from our weekend fossil hunts! #fossilhunting
I believe it is gas. Most agates are found/created by volcanic activity.
Interesting little collection of lace agates that includes one unpolished specimen loaded with crystals. #bluewizardrocks #lapidary #agate #agates #laceagatecrystal
Happy to help you get started when you do find time!
Ha, peeling by rolling in a tumbler with very coarse grit for six months before polishing. My full time job prevents me from doing something like workshops. I can’t even do rock shows. I barely have time to create and post on my website!
It took FOREVER…like 6 months, to peel through that host rock. I really like them!
I love these little Inca agates. These pieces took forever to tumble and polish! #bluewizardrocks #lapidary #rocktumbling #agate #agates
