We have a housing crisis in this country, and we need A New Way Home.

Here’s a look at my 5-pillar plan to leverage new and existing policy tools to make sure everyone in our communities has a safe, affordable place to call home.

I’d rather Sec. Duffy try to focus on keeping planes in the air and on time.

Maybe that’s just me.
Sean Duffy: "Dressing with respect -- whether it's a pair of jeans and a decent shirt, I would encourage people to maybe dress a little better which encourages us to maybe behave a little better. Let's try not to wear slippers and pajamas as we come to the airport."

This morning, I met with the Delaware State FOP to discuss issues affecting law enforcement here in Delaware and across the nation.

I’m grateful to our state’s brave, dedicated officers and I’ll do everything I can to support their work to keep our communities safe.

Had a great meeting with the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce this morning on the high cost of health care and energy.

I look forward to continuing our partnership on behalf of Kent County and beyond!

Glad to tour the BrightBloom Center at Nylon Capital Shopping Center in Seaford.

Geared toward children with autism and other special needs, this place is a wellspring of learning and enrichment.

Thank you to the staff for telling us about the amazing work they do!

Nylon Capital Shopping Center used to be a regional landmark, but it has fallen by the wayside in recent years. Now, it’s coming back.

Thanks to an incredible vision, and $20M from the American Rescue Plan Act, we're on the verge a new era here in Seaford!

Earlier this year, Michael, a Veteran, reached out to my team about getting his honorable discharge certificate. While working to help him, we learned he was also entitled to an award!

I was so proud to welcome him to our office, present his awards, and thank him for his service.

Nooses are symbols of hate. Swastikas – the literal symbol of the Nazi Party, the perpetrators of the Holocaust – are symbols of hate. This isn’t controversial.⁣

This isn’t how you recruit upstanding Americans into our armed forces.
Exclusive: The U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify the swastika, nooses and the Confederate flag as hate symbols.

The military service drafted a new policy that classifies them as “potentially divisive.”

Glad to meet with the Sussex Economic Development Action Committee this morning for a conversation about our shared vision for an economy that works for all of Sussex County.

I look forward to working with the partners in this room for years to come

This is completely unacceptable and only further fans the flames of political violence in this country.

Both sides of the aisle should come together to condemn it.

Earlier this morning, President Trump threatened me and a group of service and veteran Members of Congress with arrest, trial, and death by hanging.

Here’s my response:

Looks like the EPA is celebrating another self-aggrandizing list. Surprising no one, it’s riddled with hyperbole and misdirection.

Here are just a few lowlights:

The Department of Education’s job was never day-to-day management of classrooms, it was to protect our kids from discrimination and give every student the chance to thrive.

Don’t be fooled. The impacts of their negligence will be measured in years, not weeks or months.

If Republicans don’t extend ACA tax credits and premiums double, 7 in 10 people won’t be able to afford their coverage.

This is an entirely preventable crisis— it’s time for my colleagues across the aisle to act.

Democrats built Direct File to cut out middlemen like TurboTax that charge ridiculous fees.

Trump killed it. Thanks to Republicans, Turbotax wins and you lose.
IRS Direct File won't be available next year. Here's what that means for taxpayers
The Trump administration has decided not to offer the IRS' electronic tax filing system for free next year, and its future is unclear

The White House may have a new gilded ballroom and a new marble bathroom, but hardworking Americans are struggling to afford housing.

It's time for the federal government to get off the sidelines when it comes to solving our housing crisis.
New foreclosures jump 20% in October, a sign of more distress in the housing market
All phases of the foreclosure process are seeing big increases, as homeowners fall behind on mortgage payments due to stress in the economy.

It’s clear President Trump’s involvement with Jeffrey Epstein is more than he wants us to know.

The answer is simple: release the Epstein files. The American people deserve answers.

I’m more focused than ever on holding Republicans accountable for the health care crisis they created.

They have 2 months to keep costs down for millions of Americans.

If they don't, the American people will know who’s responsible.

I didn’t vote for this deal. But where do we go from here?

I know there are House members from both parties who want to keep our health care crisis from getting worse.

It’s on Speaker Johnson to hold a vote, restore these tax credits, and bring down costs.

A 50-year mortgage just shows how shortsighted this administration is.

For a slightly lower monthly payment, you end up paying WAY more interest in the long term.

We need to pass real solutions to bring down housing costs- not just move costs around to benefit big banks.

May we all take today as an opportunity to pause, reflect, and express our gratitude to those who have served in uniform to defend our country.

Wishing everyone a meaningful and blessed Veterans Day this year.

Let Me Be Blunt: promises won’t bring premiums down.

The government funding deal that just passed the Senate simply isn’t good enough.

But this fight isn’t over.

The president is willing to try everything - including unproven strategies that undercut Americans’ bargaining power - to avoid extending tax credits that we KNOW will bring premiums down.

It’s time for Republicans to get serious about addressing this health care crisis.

It’s unconscionable how hard this administration would fight the court to deny people access to nutritious foods.

But as they leave Americans behind, many of our states are stepping up to fill the gap.

That’s why I introduced the SNAP Back Act— to repay states that do the right thing.
