Ok so unfortunately that local place I was looking into may not be able to reliably print as many of these in the sizes I need them, so I'll have to find another option. But look! I made a 3D mock up so I can stare at it and dream XD

Sure. And in my mind that's not super different from all of them suddenly having all these weird tormenting insecurities that had never been a thing before and moping about it for a long time, completely unprompted beyond that's just the vibe of the game.

Yeah, that's what I'm pointing at. It "feels" a certain vibe. What I observe is Sonic being tortured for six months and him still being happy go lucky is as doofy as Amy being in jail for 2 seconds and having a Mad World existential crisis. All of Frontiers pretending to be depressed didn't win me

Yeah, writing the story and writing the script are not the same thing. The former is the part I find dumb and unstimulating. The latter was never going to salvage it

Worth noting that Flynn didn't "write" Frontiers, he basically localized it with extra steps. That was not his story

Never played Shadow gens. Not particularly interested.
And Frontiers did nothing for me. I found everything forced and hokey.

I actually find the idw stuff a lot more compelling in general, but one of my key points of interest, which is that the comics have always been their own thing, is quickly deteriorating as they try to homogenize it with the games, which don't spark joy for me XD

I actually respect Flynn's work. It's part of why I hung on to the comics for a long time. I know it's *possible* he could make sage better outside the bounds of Frontiers, I just don't particularly care enough to see that materialize XD

It's not even that it's sage in particular, although she is pretty emblematic of a lot of bleeegh for me. My enjoyment of the franchise had been limited to just the comics for a long time, so this inclusion is heralding an increased homogeny that I don't really care to experience

So apparently what happened is in 2020 they decided to start numbering their phones based on the decade, so they jumped from S11 to S22, so 4 years later were at S26. It's dumb XD

That's less dumb than there being 17 models in the last 6 years haha. Still though, seems like they should be at 24 not 26 if that's the case.
