Tomorrow marks the second anniversary of the 7th October massacre in Israel.

May the memories of those murdered forever remain a blessing and may the 48 remaining hostages be freed from captivity NOW. #BringThemHomeNOW 🎗️
Over an image of a bullet hole ridden wall of one of the kibbutzim attacked on 7th October 2023 reads the following:

7th October 2023
Two Years

Two years ago, on the 7th of October 2023, Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israel, murdering 1,200 men, women and children, injuring thousands and taking 251 people captive.

48 people still remain in Hamas captivity.

May the memory of those lost remain forever a blessing.

Following the terrorist attack at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation, we joined an emergency meeting with the Prime Minister, Home Secretary & Mayor of Greater Manchester, calling for urgent action on antisemitism, including the noxious marches. We will not let up until our community is safe.

The Board of Deputies’ response to the UK’s recognition of a Palestinian state
boardofdeputies.bsky.social
“We are gravely concerned that our governments’ announced intentions to recognise a Palestinian state at the UN are seen by Hamas as a reward for its violence and rejectionism towards Israel. These announcements have therefore lessened rather than maximised pressure for the hostages’ release."
