I hate when ppl are like “why Target & not Walmart & others” Walmarts are purposefully placed in food deserts. It would take a lot more organizing to successfully boycott. They didn’t just yell at ppl to stop taking the bus in Montgomery, they organized carpools, helped folks in rural areas, etc—

With the rise in climate change, places where it doesn’t usually snow a lot is just going to have to adapt. They need to invest in infrastructure bc atp there’s no reason ppl should still be complaining about no salt trucks. Also, ppl are just going to have to learn to drive in snow—

Looking back at my undergrad papers, I was writing mf BARS. Like I used to eat up my political science and cultural psychology papers. So glad I didn’t grow up in the ChatGPT era. We had to actually critically think back then. There was no making a prompt and letting a bot write your whole paper

I am a living testament that there is harm in too much of a delay of gratification. It’s highly associated with emotional intelligence but honestly, delaying gratification to the point it becomes suppressed takes away pleasure and makes you always feel like you’re just existing and not really living

Like I had whole stress breakdowns with this class. Our exams were short answers only no multiple choice, no nothing. And you had to synthesize through a dense amount of information. He also graded papers very harshly. This is one of my biggest flex 😭
Unfortunately my GPA dropped to a 3.9 but I’m not going to get super down. This one class I had this semester was HARD. It’s the hardest class I’ve ever taken so that A- is good enough
