Interesting discussion going on atm between Ruben and @williamcostello.bsky.social on the appropriate ways to defend (or not) Evolutionary Psychology but I wanted to pick up this point here. How many internal critics stay in the field? How many throw up their hands and walk away?

One such exception is Brendan Zietsch, who is also a frequent critic of the adaptationist default. He might actually be the closest thing the field has to a loyal opposition. Personally, my experiences doing replications in EP made me switch fields.
