The good news is you'd have a pretty easy time with it... your patch would only need to contain a single rpy file that overrides an HAS_PATCH define, which is built into an archive you can patch in

#DaddyDatingGame progress continues! Gabe's sprite is done, and game's at 53,975 words (4238 dialogue blocks)

But some news: PatchrickPlayer1 will be streaming the game (at least its progress) this upcoming Friday (June 20), for Pride Month!

Today's #DaddyDatingGame progress was staging the completed sprites (Ryan, Jason, Santiago, Ethan) and backgrounds into the game... Gabe will hopefully follow soon

(Also got some writing done!)

It's a little sad we'll no longer have scenes that look like this though 😅

Oh my god

After over a year, day 7 of #DaddyDatingGame is finally done being written

And it is 2012 lines long (four times the length of the previous game Saturday)

Jesus what I have I done to myself?

Game is now 50,595 words and 3,991 dialogue blocks 😶

It occurs to me I haven't posted a #DaddyDatingGame update in a long time

The day job has been too busy to make serious progress, but I've been knocking out scenes (and scene-bits), and sprite progress has continued

The game is currently 38,348 words, and here's a WIP headshot of Gabe #GameDev

There's nothing like the feelings you get when someone emails you about your games, talking about how much they loved your writing and character choices, and how upset the "bad" endings made them feel

People like that are what make #IndieGameDev (or I suppose #VisualNovelDev) worth it

My goal at the moment is to make more gays featuring middle-aged gay men just living their lives
