On here I've always found it difficult to have genuine engagement or interactions, because it's all very fleeting. There are no shared spaces, no baseline topic to fall back to. Though they were slow, i think the old forums have some merrit and that discord brings a bit of that back.

You know why discord is the one social media that i still actively use? It feels like an old forum. You can chat with people, recognize usernames. It's not an endless feed of content; instead a server has a topic or purpose, and you can build genuine interactions.

I've learned the value of warming ups for drawing lately, and I improved my lineart due to it!
