Again, the U.S. rationale for the war is explicitly spelled out in the AUMF. You can invent all of the reasons you want, but the fact of the matter is that Saddam violated the Gulf War ceasefire repeatedly over a decade, and if he had not we would not have invaded.

You seem very dense. You should really read those UN resolutions and the AUMF. You will find that Iraq violated the Gulf War ceasefire repeatedly over a decade by not allowing inspections and that the U.S. cited those violations in the AUMF. Those are facts anyone can easily look up.

Iraq's violations of the Gulf War ceasefire are documented by UN resolutions 687, 699, 707, 715, 949, 1051, 1060, 1115, 1134, 1137, 1154, 1194, 1205, and 1284. The violations of the ceasefire are explicitly cited in the AUMF. Whether you support the war or not, those are facts.
