loose design notes for myself for pippins from deltarune, mainly on drawing their heads. Some hand written notes include "no vertex drawn through face?" "only use lineless?" and "face features not tuck to one side / can move / 'cheat'." Smaller doodles to the bottom include some pippins heads using other dice types (d4, d8, d20, etc.) and two sillier Kinda pippins designs based on odd dice. One is a "medieval" dice (dice that is elongated to roll along an axis) that is drawn with a very tall head with multiple eyes and a medieval styled outfit. The other is based on mongolian sheep ankle dice which have a different side system named after animals, and the character has 4 faces to reflect this. Its drawn like an old lady with a walker.

I saw a post this morning somewhere about trying to draw an upturned chin from below and yeah - that's a tough one!

You need to rely a lot on shading the form rather than lines for this usually. Beards can be a nice cheat. 😋

Here's a few refs to try today if you want the challenge. ⭐

In other words, library books are not lost sales for authors and publishers; they’re positive sales. Active sales. Those are bought.

Ceol Aen, located near Bardam's Mettle, are stone pillars engraved with songs of the peoples of the Steppe. Although the pillars' placements may seem haphazard, when the wind blows, they are said to come alive with songs of eld.
