The SSL is pleased to support the Sustainability Book Club organised by the Smith School of Enterprise & Environment. Meetings start on Wed 26 November, in the Large Discussion Room at the SSL, at 4-5pm. Open to University members only.

If you want to use your own device in our library but would prefer a bigger screen, why not use one of our monitors. We have 30 in total, ranging from 23" / 58.5cm to 27" / 68.5cm. All have a USB-C cable attached to them. If you need a HDMI cable, we can loan you one from our Issue Desk.
Monitors located on desks situated along the windows at the back of the SSL main computers area. The Quiet Study Room in the SSL. At the front is a desk with 2 monitors on it. All the desks have chairs at them.

The Bodleian Libraries opened for the first time on 8 November 1602...

This means, we're older than the refracting telescope (1608), the publication of Shakespeare's Hamlet (1623) and Sir Isaac Newton's apple (1666)! 😅
