How to indict your political enemies:

Step 1. Appoint an AG who went to law school in a hotel
Step 2: Replace career prosecutors with an insurance lawyer who never prosecuted a federal case
Step 3: Hire an FBI director with zero years in law enforcement
Step 4: Let them cook

What a meritocracy!
Trump's DOJ Is White DEI
The Trump Administration's Justice Department is filled with incompetent, unqualified people who personify the conservatives definition of a "diversity hire."

Charlottesville finally took down its Confederate monuments in 2021.

The statue of Robert E. Lee was melted down.

The statue of Stonewall Jackson was given to artist Kara Walker.

This is what she did with it:

The minimum wage was $3.35 when I started working in 1985. Forty years later, it’s $7.25, which is sickening and should be the salary of our senators and representatives.

The folks at Adidas should make galoshes, because I’m not about this walking-around-in-wet-socks life. No thank you!

That's got to be nice, sometimes. I get (and dig) it.
I managed to see SNL for the first (and second) time last year, having seen the Live Show with Chris Rock & Gracie Adams and the Dress Rehearsal with Jon Hamm & Lizzo. Don't think I'll be trying that again this year, though. It's checked off the Bucket List.
And a WHITE priest at that! We really are in a race between education and catastrophe, aren't we?
I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.
