Oedema tail is associated with aggressive infiltrative tumours; 26% of them had tumour cells that would remain if we resected the tumour with a wide R0 margin, even with preoperative radiation.

SWIFFT was a pragmatic, parallel-group, multicentre, open-label, two-arm, randomized superiority trial. This longer-term evidence confirms consolidation of the proportion of bony bridging, and the increasing #arthritis impact of #injury on joints.
